Bonnie Open House: We Love Seniors and We Love Real Estate

Meet Bonnie and join us for one of those magical moments. 

One of those magical moments in life is seeing someone smile from ear to ear or shed a tear of joy. You just can't help but feel connected to other humans in these moments. The relationship we have with families that we serve doesn't end after we buy the house; many times, we bring families back to see the forever home after we have rehabbed it and before we sell it to a new family.

When we came up with this BRING THE FAMILY BACK idea, we were concerned the families would feel sad or awkward, but we’ve quickly realized that most want to see how we rehab and transform their house that needed some updating or sometimes even more. The adult children and grandchildren grew up in these houses, and although the seniors have moved out of them, they still want to see the finished work. It makes them happy to see the house being repurposed. 

Please join us at 2230 W 79th St Prairie Village, KS on June 22nd when we will be bringing back Bonnie and the rest of her family in a big way to see the rehabbed house. We want you to be there! We're hosting an open house where all of our friends from senior living, and also some families we have worked with, come and see Bonnie's house now that our renovations are complete. Bonnie now lives in assisted living, but she's going to come and visit us during this open house.

She's been asking, every two weeks for the past five months, “When is the open house happening? I can’t wait to see what you did with the house” We were excited to tell her that it is done, the Open House is happening, and we have invited guests to come celebrate with us, in her honor. We expect some smiles and some tears, but one thing I know is that the family will be really happy seeing the house since it has been totally renovated.

Celebrate with us and meet Bonnie and her family as we unveil the house in Prairie Village, where Bonnie lived almost 50 years.
