Raising Awareness of Free Alzheimer’s Support Resources for Kansas City Families - So how do we raise awareness?
Lee's Summit Chamber works to raise awareness for Alzheimer's
Thank you to the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce Health and Human Services Committee for having us out to raise awareness about dementia and Alzheimer's disease—a fantastic group of healthcare and aging-related professionals. A big thank you to Nicole from Silverado Lee's Summit Memory Care Community for sharing her endless expertise. Awareness sessions like these are critical in sharing the resources available and just one more step in beating this disease. More than 6 million people in the United States currently live with Alzheimer's. Almost everyone has been impacted by this disease, whether it be a loved one, a friend, or someone else. Help spread the word on the resources available from the Alzheimer's Association - Heart of America Chapter. Thanks also to HCA Midwest Health for providing the space for the awareness presentation.
Heart of America Chapter - Alzheimer's Association Board Member Ben Rao, pushes to promote awareness to with the help and expertise of Nicole McMonigle Knight from Silverado Memory Care.
